Comedy gold, my man. You could be bigger than Chris Rock with that kind of comedic timing.

I haven't seen too much new stuff that kept me interested. The few shows that I tivo on a regular basis are:

The Office
30 Rock
Mad Men
Mythbusters
Z Rock

I just started getting into Z Rock. It's kinda hit and miss right now, but I'm trying to stick with it. For those interested, it's on the IFC channel. It's about a 3 piece rock band that "rocks" at night and then plays kiddie parties during the day to make money. It's a funny premise, but sometimes the writing relies too much on profanity to make a joke. Saying f*ck just for the sake of it isn't funny to me.

My cousin just told me about that show. We kind of know those guys too. They used to be in a local band from here called october 13 I think. If you ever heard of Zandelle their drummer was from that band.

I watch weird crap. I'm not into TV dramas at all. Give my Mythbusters, The People's Court, anything with Gordon Ramsey, M*A*S*H reruns and American Dad and I'm happy. Smile

I'm getting more and more into documentaries and stuff about freaks and medical oddities on the Discovery Channel.

Not a big fan of American Dad, I prefer Family Guy from Seth McFarlane.

I prefer Family Guy as well but Family Guy hasn't put out anything funny this season. All the episodes have blown. American Dad makes me giggle.

True, there were a couple of good jokes in last nights show. But that damn gay alien ruins some of the episodes for me.

I saw the original. Was the one on last night a repeat or a follow-up?

I think most television shows suck. The writing sucks, the acting sucks, and even when i like show they end up ruining the show like 'Heroes", Heroes' started out cool but now it just sucks.

I watched the 1st season and the writer-strike shortened 2nd season. They lost me after that though and I've heard that this season is terrible. Too many "heroes" added to the mix and then there was "all build-up with no payoff" at the end of each episode.

I just got into Family guy this year. Best Buy had a great deal on their dvds for 16.99 each when their regulary $40! So I grabbed them. For years I thought the show sucked cause it was funny when it first came on and then it kind of died out for me but now that I watched most of these the show is great! I just need time to watch all this stuff. I cant believe the guy from jerky boys is doing voices on this show too. I thought he just dropped off the face of the earth. Even though its old for some reason when he says Assneck its still funny.

Has anybody been watching the show "My Own Worst Enemy" with Christian Slater? I saw one episode, thought it was quite good, and of course a week later it was announced that they were cancelling it. That figures.

I have been watching a BBC show called MI:5 which is the British equal to the FBI. It is very interesting and well done... I will say though my favorite show is Doctor Who (both new and old)..

If nobody's watching it and the network is losing money on it, they can shitcan it whenever they want. Hell, there are many shows in TV history that were cancelled after only one episode!!

That just seems like a waste of money and time, some shows take awhile for audience to build for it, airing a handful of episiodes than cancelling the show seems dumb compared how much they spent promoting it, at least burn off the shows already filmed.

In most cases, when a show gets cancelled any remaining un-aired episodes end up getting burned off in the middle of the summer time, when nobody's watching TV anyway so the networks just throw any ol' crap out there just to fill air time...

Anybody planning to check out the new sci-fi/action series "Dollhouse" that starts next week on Fox? Not only does it have the super-hot Eliza Dushku, but it's written/created by Joss Whedon of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Firefly" fame. Looks kick-ass.
